WELCOME!

Welcome to Kinzin! We’ve created this service to allow groups to privately share photos, collaborate and create printed momentous that everyone can enjoy.
One account allows you to create multiple Groups. Each Group can have a separate set of members. Members can only participate in the Groups that they have been invited to. See the diagram below.

To create an account, click on the (Create my free account) button.
CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
Fill in your name (or a nick name that your friends will recognize), your email address and a password. Remember to take note of your password. When you are finished click on the (Create my free account) button.

ADDING PHOTOS
Now, you are ready to get started. Click on the (+ Add photos) button to upload some photos.

Choose the photos from your hard drive you want to share with your Group.

The green progress bar will indicate how many photos you are uploading and how the upload is progressing.

NOTE: The length of time required to upload photos depends on your Internet connection speed and the resolution of your photos.
If you are uploading a lot of photos feel free to open another browser window and do something else while waiting.
NAMING YOUR GROUP
Most importantly, you should name your Group so everyone can recognize it. Click on the (settings) link.

Clicking on the (settings) link will open a new window where you can give your Group a new name.

NAMING ALBUMS
Next, you can name the Album where you uploaded your first photos to by clicking on the (settings) link.

Clicking on the (edit) link will produce another window where you can rename the album from “Untitled Album”. In this example, we have called it “Game 1”.
NOTE: You can also click on the (Delete this album) link if you want to remove any album.
VIEWING AND ORGANIZING IMAGES
Once you have named the Group and the Album then you can view and organize your images.
Clicking on the Album name in the box with six small images will send you to a page where you can view all the thumbnail images that you uploaded.

The thumbnail view is also a place where you can drag and drop the photos around to reorder them.

Clicking on one of the thumbnail images will produce the large view of that image.

From here you can do several things:
Clicking on the large version of the photo will return you to the thumbnail view.

You can continue to upload photos and create new albums from either the thumbnail view or the large view.
*Only members who are Administrators and Contributors can perform these functions. A full list of member types and permissions can be found here.
INVITING MEMBERS
Now it’s time to invite people. Once you are satisfied with the photos that you have uploaded then you will be ready to share with others.
You can invite members of your Group by clicking on the (Members) button in the top right corner.

This will get you to page where you can click on a button named (+ Invite Members…).

Here you can invite one or more members at a time by filling in their name, email address and selecting which level of membership you want each to have.
A list containing the member types and associated permissions can be found here.
When you invite someone to your Group they will be sent an email telling him or her about Kinzin and what they can do there.

CREATING TRADING CARDS, PRINTS, PHOTO BOOKS, CALENDARS, ETC.
Last but not least, you should check out the various ways you and the members of your group can creatively print the photos you have uploaded by clicking on the (Print Projects) button. Here you will find tools for creating personalized trading cards, calendars, photo prints, books and more.
